There are many things to do while visiting Brno, such as hiking or biking through parks or forests during the summer months, taking a boat trip on the river Svratka during the spring or fall when it’s not too cold outside yet still nice enough for walking around outside without having to wear a heavy coat all day long!

Kutná Hora

A beautiful town in the Czech Republic. It is a UNESCO Heritage Site and a popular tourist attraction. Kutná Hora was founded in 1257 by Bohemian King Pemysl Otakar II, who wanted to create a new mining town. The name of the city means “Copper Mountain” in Czech. The mine was owned by the royal family until 1317, when it was taken over by the Church.

Kutná Hora is known for its silver mines and its many Gothic churches, which were built because of the abundance of silver that came from the mines. Many of these churches are beautiful and ornate, with ornate carvings on their walls and ceilings. One such church is St. Barbara’s Cathedral, which has an amazing collection of art inside it, including paintings by famous artists like Peter Paul Rubens from the 14th century!
